{"id":159,"date":"2012-06-25T10:40:27","date_gmt":"2012-06-25T10:40:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/atwdev.co.uk\/basda\/?p=159"},"modified":"2012-06-25T10:40:27","modified_gmt":"2012-06-25T10:40:27","slug":"mandatory-carbon-reporting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atwdev.co.uk\/basda\/blog\/mandatory-carbon-reporting\/","title":{"rendered":"Whatever happened to mandatory carbon reporting ?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the Climate Change Act the UK Government had a legal obligation, by 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0April 2012, to either table legislation to embody carbon accounting as an obligation within the Companies Act, or alternatively to table a report as to why this was not justified.<\/p>\n<p>We have now found a very brief report from the Govt on this topic.\u00a0 Essentially they are stating that they are unable to make a decision at the moment as they are still evidence gathering.
