{"id":2131,"date":"2012-04-18T21:10:23","date_gmt":"2012-04-18T21:10:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/atwdev.co.uk\/basda\/?p=333"},"modified":"2021-07-02T09:54:30","modified_gmt":"2021-07-02T08:54:30","slug":"basda-leads-collaboration-between-hmrc-and-application-providers-for-the-delivery-of-new-mobile-apps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atwdev.co.uk\/basda\/blog\/basda-leads-collaboration-between-hmrc-and-application-providers-for-the-delivery-of-new-mobile-apps\/","title":{"rendered":"BASDA leads collaboration between HMRC and application providers for the delivery of new mobile apps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BASDA, the UK-based Business Application Software Developers\u2019 Association, has driven a collaboration opportunity with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) who are actively seeking to support some 3\/4 million businesses &#8211; sole traders, partnerships and sub-contractors (under the Construction Industry Scheme) &#8211; by encouraging good record keeping and so reduce the\u00a0risk of compliance issues (which could result in penalties) and general improved business management.<\/p>\n<p>BASDA brought a number of vendors to the table (with HMRC) \u2013 including several non-BASDA members, given the relevance to a number of developers \u2013 and with strong support from HMRC, the scope and delivery of such apps was agreed and eight software vendors have provided their apps for the launch date \u2013 16th April.<\/p>\n<p>The apps, which are mostly free, complement existing HMRC record-keeping guidance and tools.
