At a\u00a0BIS forum event on\u00a09th December 2013, Matthew Hancock MP, Minister of State for Skills and Enterprise,\u00a0encouraged use of the BASDA Interoperability Charter & electronic Utilities billing.<\/p>\n

The event, ‘Creating an Interoperable Ecosystem for Government & Business\u2019 aimed to identify a pragmatic way forward on interoperability to deliver real benefits to business and the wider public sector through the adoption of e-invoicing.<\/p>\n

The next UKNeF meeting, on Monday 3rd February, will work towards plans for HM Government adoption of e-procurement and e-invoicing, with the aim of removing barriers to implementation.<\/p>\n

The BASDA Interoperability Charter<\/a> has been proposed as the basis for a supplier charter.<\/p>\n
