Julian worked as a management consultant at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and EY, specialising in large-scale transformation in the cards and payments industry. He set up his own financial services consultancy, Bluerock, which he ran for thirteen years before selling it in 2012.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/atwdev.co.uk\/basda\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Richard-Ransom-press-photo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-2529\" src=\"https:\/\/atwdev.co.uk\/basda\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Richard-Ransom-press-photo-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Richard Ransom Bottomline Technologies\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/td>\n<td>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Richard Ransom is Solution Lead at Bottomline Technologies, with over 20 years\u2019 experience in the payment industry, including spells at Bacs, and Vocalink. Due to a mixture of customer facing and product roles, he has developed deep subject matter expertise in the corporate and bank side of B2B and B2C payments and collections, and is often called upon to contribute to industry consultation, and to speak at industry events. In previous roles Richard has been involved in the launch of a cloud payment platform now used by c. 5,000 corporates within two years, a first of a kind corporate payment fraud detection tool, and a unique corporate mobile payments solution leveraging Pingit and PAYM.\u201d<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>The day will be packed with insightful sessions on the current issues relevant to BASDA members, identifying business development opportunities, technical and resource implications.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>What BASDA members said about the 2016 event<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>\u201cThe BASDA Summit is the perfect opportunity to find out about future developments in the industry across sectors and affords a great opportunity for networking.\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><i>\u201cI would not hesitate to recommend similar events in the future for BASDA members.
