So why not do the same when it comes to asset management?<\/p>\n<p>If businesses take the option to manage their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20120403044811\/http:\/\/www.realassetmgt.co.uk\/asset_accounting\/fixed_asset_management.php\">asset register<\/a>\u00a0on a hosted solution the software can be fully functional within a few working days, meeting the corporate demands for improved\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20120403044811\/http:\/\/www.realassetmgt.co.uk\/asset_accounting\/fixed_asset_management.php\">fixed\u00a0asset management\u00a0<\/a>and automated\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.realassetmgt.co.uk\/asset-tracking.html\">asset tracking<\/a> and using handheld mobile PDAs to record asset history and location.<\/p>\n<p>A hosted solution also ensures automatic upgrades so the software is always up to date. This is a key consideration for compliance requirements, particularly in relation to the IFRS and SORP regulations affecting UK organisations.
